Neshoba 72-Hour Release Route
No distinct Neshoba County Sheriff 72-hour release control or URL was verified. The county sheriff page does not expose a rolling recent-release list on the web. For a true three-day result, define the start and end timestamps and seek the existing jail-docket entries for that span. This avoids mislabeling an old report as a live feed.
The Neshoba County Law Enforcement Center can give immediate navigation by phone at 601-656-1414. Ask whether the booking ended and whether the method was community release or transfer. Then obtain the record when the exact time and method must be saved. A phone response is useful now, but a written release entry is the stronger lasting source.
Request Neshoba Three-Day Releases
The county's written public-record process is the clearest way to obtain a bounded three-day extract. The Chancery Clerk serves as public records officer. Requests may use the county form or be sent by letter, fax, or email. A qualifying request is not accepted by phone or in person, although a requester may inspect records after production during published hours.
- Choose exact start and end timestamps covering the three-day period.
- Ask for existing jail-docket release entries within that range, not a new narrative or analysis.
- Specify booked time, released time, release method, booking number, and receiving agency for each transfer.
- Request an electronic copy if the report already exists in electronic form.
- Ask for a cost estimate before search, review, or redaction work begins.
The county policy permits actual search, review, redaction, media, mailing, and duplication costs. It also describes a response within seven business days through production, an estimate, a request for clarification, or a written denial. The time for a record response should not be confused with the time when the jail physically processed a release.
For an adverse response, ask that nonexempt portions be released and that each withheld part be tied to a specific exemption. The county policy provides an internal written review route to the county administrator, followed by the state Ethics Commission or chancery-court review. That process helps correct or verify an incomplete entry without turning a roster clue into an unsupported release claim.
Neshoba 72-Hour Release Fields
A useful three-day extract needs fields that distinguish release from transfer and one booking from another. The located NCDC report demonstrates what the county record can contain. Ask for these existing items and accept lawful redaction where an exemption applies.
| Field | How to read it |
|---|---|
| Name, DOB, race, sex | Identity fields that help avoid a same-name mismatch. |
| Booking and ID numbers | Connect the release to one jail episode. |
| Booked date and time | Shows when that custody entry began. |
| Released date and time | Shows when county control ended if populated. |
| How Released | May state bond, own recognizance, judge release, or transfer. |
| Receiving agency | Identifies where to continue after a transfer when supplied. |
| Charge and bond | Aids matching but does not establish the final case outcome. |
A blank released field does not mean the person is still held today. It means the printed source did not show a release for that entry as of printing. Likewise, the event label “ARR/REL” should be checked against the dates and method rather than read as a promise of community release.
Note: report each transfer as a transfer first, then search the receiving custodian for any later release to the community.
Neshoba Multi-Day Release Report
The located NCDC Arrest/Release Report is a dated sample selected across roughly March 16 through March 24, 2025. It combines arrests, releases, and transfers. Its minute-level timestamps and “How Released” field make it valuable, but its span does not turn it into a standard 72-hour feed.
Publication cadence and retention were not verified. Readers should record the selection and print dates and avoid describing the report as weekly. If a desired weekend is missing, the correct next step is a bounded county request. Roster disappearance is weaker evidence because it does not distinguish bond, release by a judge, completion of time, transfer, or a data change.
The wider 72-hour intent is best served by joining each event to its matching booking number and method. Do not merge two episodes because the same name appears twice. One person may leave on bond, later return on a new matter, and then transfer to MDOC. Each event has its own proof.
Neshoba Weekend Release Follow-Up
No official Neshoba weekend, holiday, standard release-hour, or processing-lag rule was found. A three-calendar-day period may cross days when office access differs, but that fact cannot be turned into a claim about when the jail releases people. Ask the facility for immediate status and use the record timestamp for the actual event.
Court sources explain the authority behind many releases. Neshoba Justice Court handles initial appearances, felony affidavits, and county-level matters. Jail sessions provide an initial appearance within three days of arrest. The Circuit Court path carries felony trial and later case material. A bond order can explain why release was authorized, while the jail entry tells when physical processing ended.
The 72-hour window should not be treated as a court deadline. It is only the search period chosen by the requester. If a release label says “RELEASED BY JUDGE,” obtain the related docket entry or order rather than guessing whether the reason was bond, dismissal, time served, or another ruling.
Neshoba Release Court Trail
The Eighth Circuit MEC information page reports a June 24, 2024 go-live date for Neshoba Circuit Court. That date matters in a three-day release review because an older case or a nonelectronic document may not appear through the current online route. Contact the Circuit Clerk for the missing record rather than inferring that no case exists.
The manifest image below preserves the official MEC source used for that limitation.
Court status and custody status answer different questions. “CLOSED” may follow dismissal, judgment, or administrative completion, and it does not supply the exact jail release time. Conversely, a person may be out on bond while the case stays open. Pair the court order with the jail's timestamp and method.
Neshoba 72-Hour Release Fallbacks
When no county extract is yet available, choose the next source by custodian. The sheriff app roster is a current clue only. Mississippi SAVIN/VINE can track a specific person through participating county facilities and MDOC, but Neshoba participation must be confirmed. An alert is a prompt to verify with the source record, not a certificate.
| Custody path | Best follow-up |
|---|---|
| Neshoba county booking | Jail call, NCDC report, and jail-docket release record. |
| Choctaw detention | Choctaw Detention or Choctaw Court, not the sheriff roster. |
| State inmate | MDOC inmate/parolee searches and discharge or time record. |
| Federal or immigration custody | BOP or ICE source only when that jurisdiction is supported. |
Kemper/Neshoba County Regional Correctional Facility is a state-inmate facility in DeKalb, not the Philadelphia county jail. Its name does not make the Neshoba sheriff report comprehensive. Youth detention records also stay outside the adult public lookup path and require authorized, confidentiality-respecting contact.
If MDOC received the person, use its separate inmate and parolee searches by name or MDOC ID. A public “Tentative Release” field is a forecast, not proof of an event. An MDOC discharge certificate or official time record is stronger. If Choctaw Adult Detention received the person, contact the tribal facility or Choctaw Court because county open-record routes cannot be assumed to control that separate system.
Neshoba Release Window Choice
A three-day request is useful when the exact date is uncertain or the period crosses several calendar days. A same-day inquiry is narrower and may be faster to check by phone. Neither window changes the need to match identity and booking fields.
Use Neshoba County Jail Releases: 24 Hours for the same-day route. For any span, preserve the source date and exact status wording. “BONDED OUT” does not end a case. “TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER AGENCY” does not mean freedom. A state “Tentative Release” date is planning data, not proof that release occurred.
- Release record
- The custodian's record of when and how control ended.
- Current roster
- A present custody inventory, not a history of past releases.
- Transfer
- An end to one booking followed by custody elsewhere.
- Disposition
- The court's resolution or status of the criminal case.
Note: leaving Neshoba County custody does not by itself end another hold, the court case, state supervision, or a later custody episode.
